Month 9 -- November 2008 -- Genocide

Armenia. Germany. Cambodia. Bosnia. Rwanda. Mass killing -- the attempt to utterly eradicate the "enemy" -- has tracked its bloody way through the 20th century. We'll discuss the causes and effects of genocide. Stay for a special performance of "Song of Extinction" by EM Lewis. At [Inside] the Ford.

Month 10 -- December 2008 -- That War, and This One (Vietnam/Iraq)
Come and talk about our foreign wars -- Vietnam and Iraq -- with writers who have engaged the particular challenges of these wars in their work. At [Inside] the Ford.
